Replacing Brake & Clutch Parts

The lifespan of your brakes will depend largely on how you drive. As a general rule of thumb, brake pads should be replaced every 40,000km, while brake shoes should be replaced every 70,000km. It's also important to keep an eye on your brake fluid levels; if the fluid becomes contaminated it will need to be replaced. 



It's recommended to replace your clutch approximately every 80,000km or eight years—whichever comes first. However, if you drive frequently in stop-start traffic or regularly haul heavy loads, you may need to replace it sooner.
